Matthew Gregory is the Specialty Sales Director for Two Degrees. He orchestrates sales efforts in New York and New England amongst independent stores, specialty retailers, online marketplaces, and small restaurant and grocery chains. He is also overseeing the Wesleyan University, Yale University, New York University, Dartmouth, Washington & Lee,, and Flagler student reps as they launch Two Degrees’ products on their campuses.
Two Degrees is a one-for-one food company – for every nutrition bar sold in the U.S., we give a medically-formulated nutrition pack to a malnourished child in a developing country.
Matt also runs community food blog Eat With Me. He lives and works in New York City.
Previously, Matt served as Special Sales and Publicity Assistant at Harvard Common Press, an industry-leading cookbook publisher. While at HCP, Matt supported the sales and publicity directors by generating book publicity and managing key sales relationships. He also developed ideas for interactive and online materials to supplement traditional content and solidify brand presence in the food industry.
Prior to HCP, Matt spent two years working for Federal Street Advisors, a Boston-based investment consulting firm. He joined a client services team responsible for overseeing the implementation and compilation of a newly developed reporting system, amongst other client-related services. Distinguishing himself as “the English major” in an otherwise financially-oriented office, Matt streamlined and improved written client communications, working directly with senior research staff and investment consultants.
Matt is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP).
Matt is interested in business/brand management, special sales, strategic communications, and digital media.
When he’s not in the office, Matt enjoys photography, professional sports, craft beer, running, and spending time with his friends.
