
Eat With Me’s Managing Editor Catie Colliton would rather be cooking or baking than anything she actually has to do. Growing up with a family that loved cooking and eating food— a dad who could whip up simple delicious dinners in 20 minutes and a mom who managed make planning and cooking a holiday feast look easy— it was natural for her to love making, consuming and criticizing food. She loves to bake desserts and anything, really. Catie is so happy to be living in Somerville, MA where she was able to upgrade to a big kitchen and an even oven that doesn’t burn her cakes anymore like the one in her old itty-bitty Beacon Hill apartment.
Catie hopes to continue exploring the restaurants of Boston (and the world!), mastering family recipes, making her own recipes, and writing about her gustatory adventures! She looks forward to sharing her love of veggie burgers, original recipes for indulgent eaters, and cooking successes!
