Keepin’ the content fresh, HCP’s Publicity Director Howie put up a new blog post today, this time from Janice, with photos and a writeup of her preserving experience this weeekend. Janice made Peach Jam, Raspberry Jam, Small-Batch Strawberry Jam, and Small-Batch Blackberry Jam, all also from Linda Ziedrich’s Joy of Jams. I can’t wait to try these out on Wednesday!

More...With our upcoming potluck to celebrate the publication of The Joy of Jams, Linda Ziedrich’s newest title, I decided to spend Sunday morning trying out one of the recipes, Strawberry-Rhubarb Jam. It was my first attempt at preserving… anything… and it went well! Once the weather cools down a bit, I’m going to keep trying new fruits and possibly move into the pickling realm.
