Some food outings are more than just meals: they’re gustatory adventures!
The past few days have been packed with great food. So much so, that I’m doing my weekly Eaten This Week a few days early. In case you missed last week’s entry, every Friday, I’m going to post a digest of the things that I’ve digested– the post will be mostly visual. Lots of food photography.
More...Last Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of joining a co-worker, his wife, who is now a student at Le Cordon Bleu “in Boston” (well, actually, it’s located in Kendall Square, Cambridge), and their friend for a Dogfish Head Ancient Ales tasting night. The deal was unbeatable: six courses, seven beers, $60.

But, it decided to crash to the ground right here in my bedroom as I was taking a photo for this blog.
More...For those of you who enjoyed this year’s foodie-friendly motion picture Julie and Julia, which chronicles the blogging-debut of Julie Powell as she endeavored to cook every recipe in Julia Child’s Mastering The Art of French Cooking, you may have found yourselves wondering who, in an increasingly saturated field of television chefs, restaurateurs, and omnipresent bloggers, will achieve similarly lasting food-fame. Julia Child was a pioneer, but surely there will be others from our generation that will continue to innovate. Maybe it’ll be someone that one of us knows personally?
