Matt is a passionate entrepreneur who loves to eat.
In the summer after his sophomore year at Wesleyan University, he was lucky enough to land a marketing and publicity internship with the industry-leading cookbook publisher, Harvard Common Press, and was hired back the following summer to manage the next group of interns. At Harvard Common Press, Matt learned to love the food business, while ripping through recipe books to improve his culinary range.
After graduating from Wesleyan, Matt spent two great years working for Federal Street Advisors, a well-regarded investment consulting firm, while continuing expand his knowledge of food by cooking, exploring area restaurants, and joining the Land’s Sake CSA and Harvest Co-Op.
To bring himself back into the food world, Matt decided to rejoin Harvard Common Press as a full-time employee and is currently Special Sales Assistant there.
Matt is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP).
